Martin Rappeneau

Martin Rappeneau is a pianist. He began his career as a singer-songwriter in 2003 and has released four albums with Universal Music.

A lifelong devotee of melody, he composed his first original film score in 2007 for Ce soir je dors chez toi, directed by Olivier Baroux. Since then, he has collaborated with, among others, Frédéric Beigbeder (L’amour dure 3 ans), Hélène Fillière (Une Confession, Un père idéal), Manuel Schapira (Damoclès), Jean-Paul Rappeneau (Belles familles), and Julien Rappeneau (Fourmi, Le trésor du Petit Nicolas, Rosalie Blum, nominated for the César Awards in 2017).

He enjoys blending his pop influences—from The Beatles to Frank Ocean—with the richness of the classical orchestra, and is never happier than when he is in the recording studio, seated at the piano and surrounded by his trusted musicians.
